I am a regular contributor to The New York Times, where I write film reviews and features. I’m also a podcast producer at Campside Media. I have produced serialized nonfiction series including TCM’s “The Plot Thickens: The Devil’s Candy,” which was chosen as one of the best podcasts of the year by The New York Times; Wondery’s “Suspect,” which was chosen as one of the best podcasts of the year by The New Yorker; and HBO’s “‘The Wire’ at 20,” which won a Gold Signal Award. My writing has additionally appeared in publications such as The Boston Globe, Slate and The Daily Beast. I grew up in Massachusetts and live in Brooklyn.

My writing for The New York Times is compiled here. Read about my work as a podcast “doula” here.
